The Pacific Partners Project

September is National Campus Safety Awareness Month (NCSAM)! Each September, the Clery Center partners with colleges, universities, and other organizations to offer campus safety resources, programming, and ideas.

This year’s theme is Taking the First Step, which underscores the necessity of being informed and taking the first step towards community and college activity to promote safety on campuses. GCASAFV has partnered with post-secondary institutions in the Pacific Region to ensure school campuses are safe, violence-free, and conducive to learning called the Pacific Partners Project. The project focuses on the strategies strategies to build capacity and carry out the needs assessment in developing and sustaining core elements of campus sexual assault policies and prevention programming while maintaining cultural sensitivity and relevance in our communities.
